About The Author
About M.L. Gallagher
M.L. Gallagher was born in Charleston, West Virginia, and grew up surrounded by the history and mountain landscapes that would later influence her writing. A graduate of West Virginia University in Morgantown, she developed a love of horses at a young age under the guidance of fellow West Virginian Mrs. Anne Spillman.
That early passion became a lifelong equestrian career. M.L. has owned and operated Ridge Point Equine for more than fifty years, teaching generations of riders and helping students qualify for the USEF Pony Finals and all three national medal finals. She continues to ride and teach today, bringing decades of experience, discipline, and affection for horses into both her life and her storytelling.
